The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jack Bensley, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to amend the agenda to include discussion with Group Services and the Feld Fire Equipment representative. Ayes all, motion carried.

One citizen spoke during the citizen input time on the agenda with comments on drainage issues in Sac County and thanked the Board for their oversight in those matters.

Tom Schuetz, co-president of Group Services presented the first quarter report of claims activity for the county’s group health care coverage.

Dale Rohe, sale representative for Ed Feld fire equipment made a presentation to place smoke and fire detection system in the original part of the courthouse.

After some discussion, it was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to accept the proposal from Ed Feld Company for $20,629.00 plus an additional keypad located in the communication center to silence and reset the fire alarm system. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve an application for placement of underground cable along the right of way of 170th Street within the district boundaries of Joint Drainage District 16 Sac, 30 Calhoun and 92 Pocahontas Counties submitted by Windstream Communications, Inc. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the transfer of $7533.20 from DD 73 Tile Main to DD 73. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the transfer of $4,518.68 from DD 73 Tile System to DD 73. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the transfer of $2,755.47 from DD 73 Tile Lateral One to DD 73. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the transfer of $202,487.00 from DD 73 Main Open Ditch to DD 73. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the transfer of $228.80 from DD 73 Tile Main to the Drainage Payroll fund. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the transfer of $242.32 from DD 73 Tile System to the Drainage Payroll fund. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the transfer of $27.53 from DD 73 Tile Lateral One to the Drainage Payroll fund. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the transfer of $5,990.00 from Jt DD 19 and 26 Common Outlet to DD 81 Main Open Ditch. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the transfer of $21,138.00 from DD 60 to DD 60 Main Open Ditch and Lateral 3. Ayes all, motion carried.

The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews, the status of current maintenance and construction projects and the construction on Highway 20 as it pertains to secondary roads.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
