Board Room

The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jack Bensley, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.

There was some informal discussion regarding precinct consolidation during the citizen input portion of the agenda.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to proclaim the week of September 17 through 24, 2011 to be Constitution Week in observance of the 224th anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of the United States. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to re-appoint Frank Strain to the Region XII Regional Housing Authority Executive Board of Commissioners for the period of October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. Ayes all, motion carried.

The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews, status of current maintenance and construction projects and Highway 20 construction as it pertains to secondary roads.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
