The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Dean Stock absent and Jack Bensley attending via telephone conference.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Hecht that Rick Hecht serves as chairman pro-tem. Ayes all, motion carried. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Hecht to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.

Chairman Hecht relinquished the chair to move the approval of a 2008-09 funding request submitted by New Opportunities in the amount of $10,150.00, which was seconded by Bensley. Ayes all, motion carried.

The County Engineer faxed an update of the activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Hecht to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a contract with Graves Construction in the amount of $152,097.95 for Project FM – Co81(55) – 55-81 and $252,218.98 for Project FM – Co81(56) – 55-81. Ayes all, motion carried.
