The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Stock to amend the agenda to consider a tile crossing application. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes all, motion carried.

Pursuant to Iowa Code, the Board took up the canvas of the city elections held November 6, 2007, and offer the following results:
Auburn; for Mayor, Linda L. Beidler – 60*, Larry Stewart – 28; For Council, Janelle King – 49*, Dustin Mead – 55*, Jason E. Stoffregen – 12, Rachel Lee Weiland – 42; Early; for Mayor, Frank Scott – 41, Richard F Snyder – 77*; for Council, Vince Davis – 106*, Randy Franken – 92*; Public Measure A YES – 82*, NO – 17; Lake View, for Mayor, Robert C Schmidt – 139, John Westergaard – 211*; for Council, Toni Foval North – 276*, Jerald L. Morrow – 149*, Francis Riedell – 147*. It was determined that there was a tie vote cast for city council in Lytton. The Board will break the tie by drawing a name from a hat.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Stock to approve an application for a tile crossing between Sections 19 and 20 Cook Twp. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to approve a retail liquor sales permit application submitted by Fuel Mart on Highway 20 South of Early. Ayes all, motion carried.

The Board received the following bids for a used generator: Craig Pellersels - $850.00, Nick Snyder - $837.59, City of Odebolt - $545.00.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Stock to reject all bids for the generator. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to approve a proposed tile investigation in several locations in Sections 24 and 13, Cedar Twp, Sac County and Sections 17, 18, 20, 21, and 28, Garfield Twp, Calhoun County. Ayes all, motion carried.

The county engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
