The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding.
The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
At 10 o’clock, as advertised, the Board opened three sealed bids, which had been received in a timely fashion, for a used generator.
The following bids were opened and reviewed by the Board: Sac County Secondary Roads - $2,251.00, Tim Huddleson - $2,279.00
and Don Oxendale - $2,111.00.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to accept the high bid of $2,279.00 submitted by Tim Huddleson.
Ayes all, motion carried.
At 10:15 am, as advertised, the Chairman opened the public hearing to consider the proposed Sac County Mental Health
Case Management Plan. Dawn Villhauer-Murley, Sac County CPC presented a brief review of the plan. There was no one present to
support or oppose the plan.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to close the public hearing. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Stock to approve the Sac County Mental Health Case Management Plan as
proposed. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to approve a contract for inpatient mental health services with
St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Stock to approve an amendment to the Sac/ Ida County Case Management
by-laws regarding appointments to, and terms of office on the advisory board. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to approve the Sac / Ida County case management performance
improvement plan. Ayes all, motion carried.
The Sac County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance
and construction projects.
It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Stock to approve a detour compensation package totaling $42,369.49 for the
Iowa Dept of Transportation for damages done to Sac County roads during the Highway 175 project. Ayes all, motion carried.
The Board and the Engineer discussed a proposal from Zieglar Company for the purchase of a 2008 140M Caterpillar motor-grader.
