The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jack Bensley, Chairman, presiding.
The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to abate the taxes on 2.89 acres of abandoned railroad right of way in
the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 24, Jackson Twp, Sac County in the amount of $72.00. Ayes all, motion carried.
The county engineer updated the board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance
and construction projects.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the hiring of Jeff Degner as blade operator in the Auburn shop
and Jeff Sandhoff to fill the vacancy in the Sac shop. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the cost report for Sac County Case Management for fiscal year
ending June 30, 2006. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the accreditation application through Iowa Department of
Human Services for county case management. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the Sac County Case Management Policies and
Procedures Manual, which was updated October 6, 2006. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the Sac and Ida Counties Case Management Advisory Board
by-laws. Ayes all, motion carried.
It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to adopt a resolution establishing National Incident Management System (NIMS)
as the Sac County standard for incident reporting. Ayes all, motion carried.
