The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jack Bensley, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to amend the agenda to consider an appointment to the Sac County Board of Health. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the agenda as amended. Ayes all, motion carried.

Colin McCullough, Sac County Drainage Attorney, was present to review two drainage agreements submitted by the Iowa Department of Transportation relating to the placement of the four lane highway 20 through Sac County. After some discussion, Mr. McCullough agreed to telephone Clyde Bartel of the Iowa DOT to discuss certain details of the agreements. The drainage attorney and the DOT engineer will meet with the board at a later date to finalize the agreements.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to appoint Dr. Zoltan Pek to the Sac County Board of Health. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Hecht to approve the drainage claims as presented. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the claims as listed on the claims register in the Auditor’s office. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to adopt Resolution # 06-0620 identifying certain information as confidential unless otherwise ordered by a Court, the lawful custodian of the records or by another person duly authorized to release such information. Ayes all, motion carried.

Information deemed confidential by this resolution includes: information directly related to vulnerability assessments, information contained in records relating to security measures, emergency response protocols, architectural, engineering or construction diagrams, and information contained in records that if disclosed would significantly increase the vulnerability of critical physical systems or infrastructures of the county to attack.

Chairman Bensley excused himself from the meeting and Dean Stock assumed the position of Chairman for the duration.

The County Engineer updated the board on the activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Stock to approve the plans for pavement patching on County Roads M27, M43, M64, N14, and D59. (Project Number L-FM-CO81(PCCP07) – 7X-81). Ayes all, motion carried.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
