The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Jack Bensley, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved with one notation; that the annual meeting on September 23, 2002, was for DD 181.

It was moved by Kroeger and seconded by Hecht to approve the final payment number 8 on repair lateral No. 1, DD 60, in the amount of $13,062.12 and final payment number 5 on open ditch repair DD 92 in the amount of $4,562.81, both of which are payable to Spring Lake Construction. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Hecht and seconded by Kroeger to proceed with negotiations with Prairie i-net for wireless internet services. Ayes all, motion carried.

The Board reviewed the business of the annual meeting of DD 181 held in Storm Lake on Sept. 23, 2002.

Dawn Vilhauer-Murley, Sac/Ida County CPC, updated the Board on activities of that agency and discussed the possibilities of moving her office to the South annex. No action was taken.

There was brief discussion on HIPAA regulations and implementation of same.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
