The Sac County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with all members present, Rick Hecht, Chairman, presiding. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Stock to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.

After some discussion, the Board decided to a storage closet along the north wall of the new bathroom in the senior center.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to approve an application submitted by Sac County R.E.C. to direct bore electrical cable through the Right of Way of County Road D 15 approximately ¼ mile west of the intersection of D 15 and County Road M 54. Ayes all, motion carried.

Adam Ledford, Sac City Administrator, presented a request for funding assistance to repair the Chautauqua Building in Sac City.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to apply $5,000 from the Special Projects Fund to the Chautauqua Building Restoration project after July 1, 2009. Ayes all, motion carried.

At 10:30 AM, as advertised, the Chairman opened the public hearing to consider an amendment to the current budget for the purpose of purchasing a new ambulance and including a $10,000 state grant for Veteran’s Affairs. There was no one present to support or oppose the amendment.

It was moved by Stock and seconded by Bensley to close the public hearing. Ayes all, motion carried.

It was moved by Bensley and seconded by Stock to approve the amendment as proposed. Ayes all, motion carried.

The County Engineer updated the Board on activities of the county road crews and the status of current maintenance and construction projects.

The alignment and purchase of some adjacent property to the proposed four-lane highway 20 was reviewed.

With there being no further business, on motion, the meeting was adjourned.
