Kenneth McClure,
Sheriff

 |
Sheriff McClure was elected Sheriff in January of 2004. Sheriff
McClure started his career in law enforcement in 1988 with the Odebolt, Iowa
Police Department. Sheriff has served as a police officer in Odebolt, Clarinda,
Sac City and Storm Lake before joining the Sheriff’s Office in July of 2002
after the retirement of his father Bill McClure who served with the Sheriff’s
Office for 30 years.While with the Storm Lake Police, Sheriff McClure served
almost four years as a Detective as well as a tactical team member and K-9
handler.

Keith D. Flink,
Chief Deputy |

Deputy Flink has 23 years of law enforcement experience. He has
been with the Sac County Sheriff's Office since August, 1983. In addition to
patrol and investigative duties, Keith is the department's Crime Prevention
Officer. Keith and his wife, Joyce, enjoy country dancing and a variety of
outdoor activities in their spare time. |

Brian Erritt,
Deputy Sheriff |

Deputy Erritt started his law enforcement career with the Sac
City Police Department in 1988. He joined the Sheriff's Department in 1993.
Brian is an active member of the Sac City Fire Department. He coaches Pee Wee
and T-Ball baseball during the summer. |

Dan Bruscher,
Deputy Sheriff and "Max" |

Deputy Bruscher joined the Sac County force in 1998 with over
22 years of law enforcement experience. Dan is a Sac City native who spent many
years in law enforcement at Osage, Penora and Clarksville Iowa before returning
to his hometown. Dan and his wife Susan have been married 10 years and have two
kids Nicki and Jamie. Susan is also a Jailer for the Department. "Max" is a 2
year old Shepard and has been with the Department about a year. Max is trained
in narcotics, tracking and evidence recovery. |

Scott Brouwer,
Deputy |

Deputy Brouwer joined the Sac County Sheriffs Office in
February 2003. Scott attended one year at Westmar College before
transferring to Iowa Lakes Community College where he earned an AS degree in
Criminal Justice. Scott started his law enforcement career in 1990 with
the Storm Lake Police Department. While with the Storm Lake PD, Scott was
a member of the tactical entry team for 8 years, a field training officer for 8
years, K-9 handler for three years, and a patrol lieutenant for four
years. With the Sac County Sheriffs Office, in addition to his patrol and
investigation duties, Brouwer is the Sac County Jail Administrator and one of
two narcotics officers. |
