SAC COUNTY PCC OVERLAY PROJECT |
Sac County roads D-59 and N-20 will close Thursday August 13, by 10:00 A.M. to
through traffic as the contractor prepares to place a Portland Cement Concrete
Overlay. D-59 will be closed south of Wall Lake from M-64 east 7 miles to Hwy
71/175. N-20 will be closed from Hwy 71/175 south 3 miles to the Sac and Carroll
county line.
Traffic will be detoured on
county road D-54 , Hwy 71, and county road E-16. |

Traffic on intersecting gravel road and M68 will be able to
cross D59 & N20 prior t the concrete being placed and after it has cured. Curing
& intersection work usually takes 4-5 days.
The Contractor plans to start placing the overlay on N-20 at the Carroll/Sac
County lines and proceed north & west. |

| The contractor is Flynn Company from Dubuque with a bid of
$2,024,448.54 for this project which is being funded with Federal Surface
Transportation Funds and Farm to Market Funds. |
